About Us:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Controller to lead the accounting function across all entities, support strategic financial planning, and implement systems that improve financial clarity and operational efficiency.
Position Overview:
As Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This role requires hands-on leadership, system implementation experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and payroll
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for all business entities
- Monitor and manage cash flow and forecasting
- Create and enforce internal controls to ensure compliance and financial integrity
- Oversee annual budgeting and support department leads in managing to budget
- Work closely with leadership on financial planning, reporting, and strategy
- Lead the month-end and year-end close process
- Coordinate with external CPAs for tax planning, filings, and audits
- Manage and mentor accounting staff and ensure departmental goals are met
- Implement and optimize financial systems and reporting tools
- Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a Controller or senior accounting role
- Experience managing financials for multiple entities is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP, budgeting, and forecasting
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks Online preferred)
- Experience with Monday.com or similar project/task management tools is a plus
- High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
