About the Position:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team at The Cavco Family of Companies. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and engineering specifications
- Collaborate with production departments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain documentation of inspection results and quality control processes
- Communicate with production supervisors and QC manager to address quality concerns and implement changes as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma and substantial experience in a fabrication/manufacturing environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to read and interpret schematics
- Experience in quality control inspection preferred, including building code knowledge and ability to gain an understanding of construction manuals, standards, regulations, and specifications
- Ability to build effective relationships with fellow employees and supervisors, including when providing constructive feedback and inspection results
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required
