What you would be helping us with:
- Supporting our new client onboarding team and accounting service teams by handling day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for a wide range of clients
- Entering transactions for assigned clients using a number of software platforms, including QuickBooks Online, Dext, and Bill.com.
- Preparing account reconciliations (i.e. bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, etc.)
- Performing periodic self-reviews to ensure that accounting is accurate
- Collaborating with team members across the company to assist them with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements
- Assist with team member projects, as assigned.
Desired Qualifications:
- Desire to be a full-cycle Accountant
- Energized by working with non-profit organizations
- Experience with Quickbooks Online or another accounting system, preferred
- Comfortable using software; willing to learn new software
- Excellent verbal communicator, required, and excellent written communicator, preferred
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Willingness to learn new skills and not afraid of a challenge
- Intrinsically motivated to succeed
- Problem Solver with the ability to ask for help
