Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Group Supervisor to oversee our programs focused on childhood development and early education. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing educational or recreational programs for children, ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to work collaboratively with staff, and a commitment to fostering the growth and development of children.
Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of educators and support staff in delivering high-quality programs for children.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate curricula that promote childhood development and learning.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe environment for all participants.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and the community to enhance program participation and satisfaction.
- Monitor the progress of children in the program, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Organize recreational activities to promote physical health and academic success.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in early childhood education or related fields such as childcare or sports coaching.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques.
- Experience working with children in various settings (camps, tutoring, etc.) is highly desirable.
- Certification in First Aid is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to work flexible hours as required by program needs.
- A passion for nurturing children's growth through education and recreation.
