As a key leader in our ERP transformation project, the Record to Report Functional Workstream Lead will drive the global process for the record to report lifecycle within our new ERP system. Reporting to the Global Process Owner (GPO), the Workstream Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a successful and sustainable ERP solution.

Responsibilities

- Solution Design & Implementation: Facilitates solutioning and implementation design increment meetings. Leads defining and reviewing Business and Functional requirements. Responsible for design and configuration of all Modules. Approves implementation functional workstream deliverables.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Participates and supports testing phases by validating configurations and participating in test activities to ensure readiness.
- Transition Planning: Assist in planning and execution for a successful transition from implementation to production, ensuring minimal disruption and continuity.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively identify risks and issues related to the functional solution; work towards timely resolutions and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Functional Team Leadership: Will be a key decision maker during the implementation releases and will report into the GPO. Oversee functional team activities and reports status to project management. Completes deliverables in accordance with the workstream plan.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Share functional insights and updates with other project teams (e.g., change management, integrations, conversions), ensuring alignment and coordination across functions.
- Navigating complex system configurations while aligning with business requirements.
- Coordinating with multiple teams to ensure smooth communication and timely sharing of information.
- Managing RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions) log, process risk and controls, resolving issues, and managing workload within a dynamic project timeline.
- Ensuring process consistency and sustainability across global implementations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) preferred.
- 8 years of experience in financial systems implementation, with a focus on financial enterprise structures (chart of accounts), global general ledger (GL), sub-GL, secondary GL experience, financial consolidation and close processes, or reconciliation processes and systems.
- Strong background in global financial processes and accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating workshops and design sessions, defining requirements, and ensuring alignment across teams.
- Strong understanding of business process modeling and workflow design.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving decision-making capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively share information across functional areas.
- Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, or other major ERP platforms.
- Experience working in cross-functional, global project environments.
- Familiarity with change management principles and practices.
- Certified Management Account (CMA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
