Job Description
You will play an active role in sharing the story of BYU-Pathway Worldwide. You’ll do this by writing copy for a variety of mediums (print, digital, and social), distributing messages, assisting with enrollment webinars simulcast on Zoom and Facebook, updating promotional templates, learning about the importance of good data, and carrying out other administrative tasks as needed.
As a member of a professional marketing department, you will get to interact with our communication, digital marketing, messaging, and design teams on a regular basis. You will gain meaningful experience applicable to the marketing and communication field and walk away with portfolio pieces.
This is a paid student position located at the Triad Center in Salt Lake City (The office is currently working remotely but candidates must be in Utah or Idaho for the duration of their employment). Students work a consistent 20-hour a week schedule during the hours of 8 a.m. to noon or 1 to 5 p.m. Monday–Friday.

- Attends meetings with the Digital Marketing and Enrollment teams to collaborate on projects
- Reviews upcoming tasks and project needs
- Creates and edits content
- Manages various ongoing and short-term projects
QUALIFICATIONS
- Studying Communication, English, Journalism, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong writing, communication, and editing skills
- Writing for social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
- Experience conducting interviews, writing articles, and storytelling
- Ability to follow directions and meet fast-paced deadlines
- Planning, organizing, and time management
- Attention to detail
- Second-language abilities is a plus (e.g. Spanish, Portuguese, or French preferred)
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and online office applications (Google Docs/Drive)
- Wordpress, BrightSpot or another publishing/content management tool
- Zoom, WebEx or other video conferencing software
- Dynamics Marketing or other email marketing system (basic understanding is a plus)
- Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (basic understanding is a plus)
