This one-year internship provides valuable educational and professional experience in a real-world environment. The position is within the Purchasing Division of the Materials Management Department at Church Headquarters in Salt Lake City. Under general supervision, the intern will support the Meetinghouse Facilities Department with supply chain, sourcing, project, and contract management roles. This is an on-site role; remote work is not available. Candidates must maintain temple worthiness throughout the internship.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to manage workstreams and projects.
- Assist with strategy development, data analysis, reporting, implementation planning, change management, and contract management.
- Support assigned initiatives by performing analysis, providing strategic insights, creating effective communications, and implementing recommendations.
- Prepare performance reports and presentations for internal meetings and leadership updates.
- Encourage creative thinking and challenge the status quo, delivering high-value solutions while improving your personal talents/skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Strong skills in influencing strategic thinking, identifying trends, and analyzing data.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous and complex situations with logical problem-solving skills.
- Highly skilled in using MS PowerPoint and Excel; working knowledge of Power BI and Tableau.
- Excellent communication skills that build and strengthen relationships.
- Self-starter with strong ability to manage work: the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information responsibly.
- Preferred experience in procurement, strategy, analysis, legal, or consulting.
- Candidates must be enrolled in an educational institution or within one year of graduation.
- Interns must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.
