Pool Lifeguarding
Summer Programming: June 9 - August 17, 2025
- Locations: Wayzata West Middle School
- Hours: Up to 40 hours a week, morning – evening hours. Monday - Thursday, some weekends
- Applications will be accepted until May 11, 2025.
- Lifeguard training is available through Plymouth Parks and Recreation,
- March 28 - March 30, 2025 -or-
- May 30 - June 1, 2025
- Pre-requisite swim skill will be tested as part of the interview process for all applicants, including currently certified lifeguards.
- Summer training will take place June 7, 2025, 9:00 am - 11:00 am.
- Ensure safety of all aquatic sites
- Provide support as needed for all participants and staff to create an inclusive environment.
- Work as part of a team to ensure quality programs for all ages.
- Follow staff policies and procedures.
- Ensure all staff and participants follow the established policies and procedures.
- Provide a safe, fun, and appropriate experience of all participants.
- Current Lifeguard Certification, or able to obtain (classes regularly held)
- Must be personable, dependable and a good communicator.
- Additional waterfront experience for beach lifeguards
- Minimum age requirement is 15 years of age by program start date
Salary : $17 - $20
