About the Role
Bring your event planning skills to life in an arena setting! We’re looking for a dynamic Event Planner who will lead the charge in managing exciting events from initial planning through execution. You’ll work closely with various departments, like food & beverage, security, and guest services, to make sure every event is unforgettable for our clients and guests.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and coordinate logistics to ensure seamless events.
- Collaborate with teams on setup, ticketing, guest experience, and event staffing.
- Develop event diagrams and schedules, and distribute details to the team.
- Monitor event finances, handle settlements, and assist in ticketed event management.
- Be the go-to for client communication, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Act as Manager on Duty when scheduled, handling guest safety and ADA protocols.
- Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Qualifications
- 1 year of event planning experience, ideally in arenas or similar venues.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CAD or drawing experience is a plus.
- Ability to work a flexible, sometimes demanding schedule.
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) and a valid driver’s license.
