Responsibilities
- Under supervision of Casino Controller, the Accounting Clerk II, performs a variety of clerical accounting duties.
- Review invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Process invoices to be paid, including research, code, and data entry.
- Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records.
- Reconcile monthly statements from vendors.
- Reconcile accounts by checking computer reports and researching discrepancies.
- File paid invoices, check stub and backup paperwork.
- Enter payment information into log; note partial payments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate level degree or Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Knowledge of Accounting standard and bookkeeping practices and procedures.
- Understanding and following oral and written instructions and directions.
- Prioritizing and organizing a variety of tasks and responsibilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members.
- Fully Bilingual (Spanish/English).
