The CNC Cabinet Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality cabinet components. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE TO APPLY
- Operate CNC machines to cut and drill cabinet components according to specifications.
- Program and adjust CNC machinery settings to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Read, review, and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD designs to produce components (G Code is not required).
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and design specifications.
- Methodical cross-referencing of materials and designs.
- Assist in assembly and additional tasks when needed.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines.
- Monitor machine performance and adjust processes to maintain optimal production.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and improve processes.
- Proven experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing or woodworking environment.
- Strong understanding of cabinetry, commercial casework, and woodworking techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
