Key Responsibilities

• Project Oversight & Management
• Supervise all on-site construction activities from start to finish.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
• Coordinate and communicate daily with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Monitor job progress, address delays, and resolve on-site issues proactively.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient job site.
• Safety & Compliance
• Enforce strict safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and training sessions.
• Ensure workers use proper protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols.
• Document incidents, inspections, and compliance reports.
• Quality Control & Problem-Solving
• Inspect work for compliance with plans, codes, and quality standards.
• Resolve construction issues to maintain project integrity.
• Work with architects, engineers, and project managers to address design modifications.
• Ensure punch list completion and final project closeout.
• Scheduling & Coordination
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion.
• Coordinate material deliveries and equipment needs.
• Work closely with project managers to track progress and budget adherence.
• Lead site meetings with subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain daily logs of job site activities, progress, and incidents.
• Submit reports on job progress, materials, and labor hours.
• Ensure proper documentation of inspections, permits, and compliance records.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Construction Management preferred).
• Five or more years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
• OSHA 30 certification preferred and strong safety knowledge.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and make quick decisions under pressure.
• Experience managing subcontractors, budgets, and construction timelines.
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Experience with commercial projects such as office buildings, retail centers, healthcare facilities, or warehouses.
• Familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes.
• Knowledge of construction technology, including BIM (preferred).
