Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food preparation meets quality standards.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Plan and create diverse menus that cater to various dietary needs and preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special requests or restrictions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food service management sector.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food handling, and safety practices.
- Ability to supervise a team effectively while maintaining high morale in the kitchen.
- Familiarity with bartending is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be bilingual (Spanish)
