Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service, making them a vital part of our hospitality team.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize flow and minimize wait times.
• Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
• Maintain an organized waiting list during busy periods and communicate estimated wait times to guests.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and guest information as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Strong guest relations skills with a focus on exceptional customer service.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
• A background in hospitality or hotel services is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to help others is essential for success in this role.
