JOB DESCRIPTION:-
Title:- National Account Manager
Location:- 9340 Derrington Rd, Houston, TX 77064
Salary:- $100k a year
The Salesperson for our Client is responsible for new customer acquisition, lead generation, qualifying and prospect management, as this role will garner and meet with potential customers to build rapport and develop long-term relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies
Continually building business relationships with current and potential clients
Proactively qualifying client needs and offering solutions, support, and value-engineered alternatives.
Performing high-level business development activities, including identifying key decision makers, delivering presentations, negotiating contract terms, and managing qualifying and proposal process for projects.
Reviewing project proposals and establishing a plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources.
Negotiating contracts and change orders in line with The Company guidelines on margins
Maintaining consistent contact with customers
Establishing and continuously refining an acceptable selling cycle.
Maintaining a pipeline of all sales administration using CRM software
Consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals
Participating in regular debriefing with VP of Sales
Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans
Become a subject matter expert on products, services, processes, and operations of The Company and remain up to date on industry trends
Screening potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, financials, and deal requirements.
Reviewing costs, planning, and project scheduling with Operations.
Conferring with project staff post contract award to outline project plan
Reviewing status reports prepared by project personnel and modifying schedules or plans as required to stay within established project budget.
Tracking costs versus budget and providing input for more synergistic job flow.
Cooperatively communicating with Company project personnel and executive team to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
Experience, Competencies and Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
5 years of experience in sales in the construction industry may be substituted for the “Bachelor’s” requirement.
5 years of experience in sales and business development.
Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
Experience with lead generation and prospect management
Track record of achieving sales quotas
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers
Sports minded and energetic team players
Persuasive and goal-oriented
Competitive individuals with a winning mentality
Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
Able to communicate with C-Level Executives professionally and confidently
Experience with CRM
Valid Driver’s License.
Strong interpersonal skills to support leadership, management, negotiation, and problem-solving functions.
Solid understanding of multi-family construction lifecycle.
Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Proven ability to manage costs to ensure that project budgets are met.
