Description:
Join the team at The Custer Beacon, a popular eatery in the heart of Custer! We are currently seeking a dedicated and efficient Line Cook to support our kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for prepping and cooking items according to recipes and standards set by the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
- Assist with special events and banquets and cook and prepare a wide variety of items from catering menus.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory and ordering of supplies.
Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Resident of Custer or reliable transportation is a plus.
