Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our premier pet resort. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of pet boarding, daycare, grooming, and training services. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals, uphold excellent customer service, and maintain the highest standards of care and safety for our guests and their owners.
Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management:
- Oversee all aspects of pet resort operations, including boarding, daycare, grooming, and training.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Ensure pet resort facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Monitor inventory and procure necessary supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with staff to create and implement training programs to provide exceptional care for all pets.
2. Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and evaluate staff members to maintain a high-performing team.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to staff to ensure their professional development.
- Foster a positive team culture and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Schedule staff shifts and manage labor costs effectively.
3. Customer Service and Sales:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Address customer feedback, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Monitor customer reviews and ratings to continuously improve service quality.
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies to increase the customer base.
4. Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the pet resort budget, ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Monitor revenue streams, expenses, and cost of goods sold.
- Analyze financial reports and recommend strategies to improve profitability.
- Maintain accurate records and perform regular audits to ensure adherence to financial policies.
