What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Associate position at The Denver Athletic Club?
WHAT is the job: Maintenance Associate! You will be taught building maintenance skills from our highly experienced building engineers. This is a highly valuable opportunity for the right candidate to learn and grow with The Denver Athletic Club. You will be responsible for routine inspections, minor repairs, maintaining outdoor areas, reporting hazards or concerns, assisting with demolition, painting and plumbing, snow and graffiti removal when needed and maintaining maintenance equipment. You'll sometimes operate light maintenance equipment like power washers and snowplows. You will be needed to complete housekeeping projects inside and outside the club.
WHERE is the job: 1325 Glenarm Place in downtown Denver. The Denver Athletic Club is across the street from the Colorado Convention Center, 2 blocks from the 16th Street Mall and a 3-minute walk from Civic Center Park.
WHEN you would work: This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week. The regular schedule is Sunday - Thursday 7:30A - 4P, but your schedule needs to be very flexible as this will be a learning position and you must be able to change your schedule as needed to accommodate your own growth with The Denver Athletic Club
WHO we are looking for: The ideal Maintenance Associate candidate must have a high school diploma or an equivalent degree. You must be able to demonstrate a basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in maintenance work. You will have to be dependable, and able to work well within a team. A driver's license is required for this position.
