Bar Manager

The Early Owl is looking for and hiring a Bar Manager. We are offering competitive salary, 401k plan, health benefits after 3 months, and paid time-off after a year are available for full-time employees.

As a Bar Manager at The Early Owl, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our vibrant and bustling bar operations. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming and lively atmosphere for our guests while ensuring smooth and efficient bar service. Your expertise in managing a dynamic team and delivering exceptional customer experiences will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of bartenders, barbacks, and other bar staff. Provide guidance, training, and support to promote a positive work environment. Foster a cohesive team that consistently delivers outstanding service.

2. Bar Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of the bar, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and monitoring stock levels. Develop and implement efficient operational procedures to optimize service speed and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area.

3. Beverage Program: Collaborate with the management team to curate an exciting and innovative beverage program. Craft an enticing cocktail menu, select a diverse range of wines and spirits, and ensure a well-stocked bar. Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new and unique offerings.

4. Customer Service: Set a high standard for customer service and lead by example. Foster a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for guests. Interact with patrons, build relationships, and ensure their needs are met. Handle any customer concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.

5. Compliance and Safety: Uphold strict adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements related to the sale and service of alcohol. Ensure responsible alcohol service and promote a safe and secure environment for staff and guests.

6. Financial Management: Work closely with the management team to monitor and control costs, optimize profitability, and achieve financial targets. Analyze sales data, track trends, and make informed decisions to drive revenue and control expenses.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in a high-volume establishment.

• Extensive knowledge of bar operations, including inventory management, cocktail preparation, and beverage trends.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse team.

• Excellent customer service skills with a passion for providing memorable experiences.

• Solid understanding of compliance and safety regulations in the bar industry.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.

• Financial acumen and ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

• Certification in responsible alcohol service is preferred.
