Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care through individual and group therapy sessions.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including behavioral therapy and psychotherapy.
- Offer specialized support for clients dealing with PTSD, grief, and other mental health issues.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ICD-10 coding standards.
- Engage in regular supervision and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote mental health awareness.
Experience
- A degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required.
- Previous experience in child family counseling or working with children is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of PTSD care and grief counseling techniques.
- Familiarity with behavioral therapy practices is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
