TFG Aviation is seeking an experienced, strategic General Manager to oversee our janitorial operations across multiple contract scopes at Denver International Airport (DEN), including concourses, the main terminal, trash areas, and food court zones. This role will lead high-level planning, compliance management, operational consistency, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead DEN organizational readiness in line with MWBE and EDI commitments
  • Support Site Managers in staffing, quality control, and operational execution
  • Monitor and ensure successful delivery of KPIs across each service line
  • Liaise with DEN’s Program Administrator and other stakeholders on strategic initiatives and service performance
  • Ensure full compliance with DEN contract requirements, OSHA, FAA, and TSA standards
  • Provide executive oversight and leadership for 24/7/365 operations across multiple contract scopes
  • Anticipate, identify, and resolve service and operational issues with a results-oriented approach to performance
  • Assume local leadership for specific local initiatives for process and performance improvement
  • Consistently communicate with employees and customers with company directives
  • Manage and create work schedules for employees
  • Be influential in building an environment of ownership within the team so that employees feel empowered to use their judgment and make safe and sound decisions
  • Celebrate successes and problem solve and failures
  • Contribute to operational safety, a satisfying work environment and improved quality of service
  • Supply management
  • Liaison between Airline Customer, TSA, DEN Badge Office, CBP, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in janitorial services, with 5 years in senior leadership
  • Experience managing 100 employees across multiple scopes or facilities, preferably airports
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple contract requirements simultaneously
  • Strong background in labor management, union environments, and public sector contracts
  • Proven leadership in MWBE and equity-focused programs preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to apply creative solutions that have positive impact on results
  • Ability to respond quickly and seize opportunities
  • Exhibit leadership qualities which elicit trust with employees, customers, and airport community
  • Demonstrate sound judgment
  • Strong knowledge in aircraft safety, service standards and all Federal directives
  • Manage and teach all safety aspects of airport service functions
  • Audit and inspect adherence to all SOPs
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry thirty (25) to fifty (50) pounds
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

Contingency Clause:

  • This position is contingent upon contract award. Final candidates selected for consideration must sign a Letter of Intent (LOI) or contingent employment agreement affirming their commitment to join TFG Aviation if awarded the contract.
