TFPU is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening families and protecting children in Cache, Franklin, and Rich Counties through 24-hour therapeutic child center, education, therapeutic services, and the Starfish Children’s shelter.
The Family Place Utah (TFPU) is seeking a self-motivated and trustworthy individual for the position of Accounting Clerk. The individual selected will serve as the integral team member of the Administration Department and will report to the Finance Manager. This position is part-time, 20 hours per week at our Logan facility. Competitive pay based on licensure and experience.
General Description:
Duties include data entry, receivable and payable accounting functions, financial reports supporting documentation and presentation of financial information. Must be able to work well with a team and take initiative.
Must possess good computer, organizational, and communication skills.
Qualifications:
· Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel software.
· Associate degree or 2 years college in business, accounting or equivalent knowledge and experience.
· Ability to analyze information and deal with complex tasks.
· Dependable, honest, responsible, self-starter and team player
· Protects and maintains confidence and confidentiality of restricted or proprietary client, employee and business information.
· Pass Background Criminal Investigation (BCI) clearance.
