Employment Type: Part Time (25hrs/wk) with plan to go Full Time
Location: Remote but must be based in Arizona
Salary: $62k-$68k based on experience
Experience: Minimum 3 consecutive years in accounting position

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role, you'll manage complex financial reviews, system reconciliations, and client relationships while ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and service delivery.
Acounting & Financial Review and Management
- Perform month-end reviews to ensure financial data accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct transaction reviews and investigations to resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Reconcile accounts and systems.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies for accurate financial records.
- Prepare and post necessary journal entries.
- Ensure all adjustments are well-documented and approved by the appropriate parties.
- Manage higher-level billing and project reconciliations.
- Review, update, and manage financial forecasts
System and Accounting Reconciliations
- Maintain and manage reconciliations across different systems.
- Ensure accuracy between systems
- Streamline reconciliation processes for efficiency.
Reporting
- Review financial reports - profit and loss, and balance sheet
- Customize reports based on client needs and preferences.
- Identify key insights and trends to help clients understand their financial position.
Client Communication
- Respond promptly to client inquiries about transactions, reports, or general bookkeeping questions.
- Provide updates on completed tasks and clarify any outstanding items.
- Handle client calls as a reliable point of contact for all bookkeeping-related matters.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 years of consecutive and proven accounting experience.
- Skilled in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar software.
- Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple client accounts.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Committed to confidentiality and integrity.
