Job Description

The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for an Events Coordinator to join a busy DC law firm. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity for an individual with solid events experience in a professional services environment to ensure the firm's events are executed with precision.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Coordinate and execute client events both in-person and virtual
  • Collaborate with communications team to develop communications plans for events
  • Research and select venues based on budget, and other objectives
  • Negotiate vendor contracts
  • Coordinate with other teams to track RSVPs, feedback, and post-event analysis
  • Manage day of event logistics, including hotel staff, event staff, and other vendors
  • Assist with other projects to ensure successful events

Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1 years of event management in a professional services environment
  • Experience with Zoom and Cvent preferred
  • Proficiency in Interaction or other CRM
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization and interpersonal skills

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
