The Ford Agency is looking for mission-driven, experienced professional with a background in working with a neurodivergent youth population in the area of workforce preparedness and job coaching. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working with individuals with learning or attention issues and have experience in managing the admissions and operations of a program. Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to oversee employment access program operations and day-to-day activities.
- Partner with and support student participants and employer partners.
- Coordinate and manage the employment outreach and recruitment efforts.
- Manage and support the onboarding process for students and employer partners.
- Deliver training and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Assist with in-classroom workshops and learning events
Qualifications Include:
- Master's degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- 5 years of professional experience
- Experience working in a classroom environment
- Experience working with youth with learning or attention issues or who identify as neurodiverse.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Key attributes: mission driven, results oriented, customer focused, and collaborative.
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
