What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trust & Estates Attorney position at The Forum Group?
The candidate will consult with and advise fiduciaries in probate and trust administration, work with clients in connection with contested trust and tax matters, review estate and gift tax returns (including complex reporting and valuation issues), and assist clients in the establishment of private foundations and other charitable vehicles.
The candidate must be admitted to the NYS Bar. Must have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member in good standing of the Bar. Should have 3-5 years of trusts and estates experience. Must have experience of working with ultra-high net-worth individuals in the design and drafting of their estate plans, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, premarital agreements, and other estate planning documents. Should be experienced with family limited partnerships and limited liability companies, shareholder agreements, installment sales, and other related transactions.
Salary : $180,000 - $220,000
