We're a national staffing firm looking for a talented Editor to join our prominent client in Mettawa, IL. Here are the details:
Job Description:
- Pay: $43-$46/hr to start!
- Assignment: 18-month assignment with potential extension based on performance and budget.
- Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Responsibilities:
- Review and edit promotional and sales training materials (print, digital, and other media) for accuracy, clarity, compliance with company guidelines, and consistency in messaging.
- Proofread pharmaceutical materials for both consumer and professional audiences, ensuring adherence to brand style guides, regulatory requirements, and validating core claims and link references.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing Operations, Medical, Regulatory) to address inconsistencies, perform quality checks before MRP submission, and manage priorities to meet deadlines efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or related fields (Required).
- 3 years of experience in editing and proofreading, as well as material review of promotional products (Required).
- Experience with AMA style (Required).
- Experience in marketing, communication, or advertising agency (Preferred).
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Veeva PromoMats, and DocuProof (Preferred).
- Understanding of medical terminology, FDA guidelines, and healthcare industry (Preferred).
