Overview:
The individual selected for this role will assist on a large scale bridge construction project in executing contracts from start to finish for assigned scope of work. Will be expected to lead discussions advancing the procurement process while vetting discrepancies and issues to ensure materials and services are delivered on schedule, in compliance with the client’s specifications and expectations, and in alignment with specific contracting processes.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare/issue Request for Proposals (RFP’s) that align with project specific requirements.
· Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities and the supplier’s reputation and history.
· Serve as a liaison between the project team, vendor, and legal to resolve escalated, complex, or disputed contract issues.
Qualifications:
· Supply chain experience working with the RFP/Bid process, contract development/negotiation and execution.
· Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Detail oriented with effective organization and coordination skills.
· Ability to:

o Effectively collaborate with others in a team-based environment

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
