Budtender (Part-Time)

This is a part-time budtending position at our Gig Harbor location*

*23-30 hours per week, 3-4 days a week*

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients in selecting the right cannabis products to meet their needs. Your expertise in cannabis strains, products, and their effects will help create a welcoming and informative environment for customers.

We don't require previous I-502 experience or any background in related fields, but it is helpful. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, as well as a positive attitude and an interest in learning more about cannabis strains and products. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide them with personalized assistance throughout their shopping experience.
• Educate customers on various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories.
• Utilize basic math skills to accurately process transactions and handle cash with precision.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to manage sales and inventory.
• Maintain a clean and organized display area, ensuring products are well-stocked and visually appealing.
• Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and compliance regulations to ensure knowledgeable service.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, particularly in a grocery store or similar environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change.
• Familiarity with cannabis products is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and passion for helping customers find the right products for their needs.
