Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients in selecting the right cannabis products for their needs. Your expertise in cannabis strains, products, and their effects will help guide customers through their purchasing decisions, ensuring a positive experience in our retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding cannabis products.
- Educate customers on various strains, consumption methods, and product benefits.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking shelves and managing inventory.
- Upsell products by effectively communicating the benefits of additional items to enhance customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the store to create a welcoming environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with the ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts to manage inventory effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and understand their needs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and industry trends is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
