The Gifting Company is seeking a talented Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating, disassembling, cleaning, and maintaining food processing and production equipment.
Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our chocolate production department, meeting product quality standards, and fulfilling production demands.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Safely transport raw material pallets from storage to the food production area
- Break down, clean, and reassemble food production and processing equipment
- Maintain organization of supplies within the enrobing and chocolate departments
- Coordinate with production to ensure prepared and available raw materials
- Communicate and collaborate with Production Manager and Leads on stock items at the production lines
- Uphold attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
- Comply with GMP and SQF Standards
Job Requirements :
- High school degree
- Minimum 1 year Machine operation experience
- Moderate skills and knowledge of hand tools
- Willingness to work in different departments during peak seasons
- Must be forklift certified or willing to become certified
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Schedule :
Base Schedule : Monday - Thursday 6 : 00am - 4 : 30pm ; Position is subject to schedule adjustments during peak seasons, including additional hours and days based on demands
