The GOD’S CHILD Project (GCP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of children and families through education, healthcare, and human rights initiatives. We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Community Special Events Coordinator to lead, plan, and execute fundraising and community engagement events across North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Montana, and Nebraska.
What You’ll Do:
Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising and community events that support The GOD’S CHILD Project’s mission.
Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners.
Develop creative and engaging event strategies to increase awareness and fundraising efforts.
Coordinate logistics, vendors, and promotional materials for events.
Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure successful event execution.
Represent GCP at public events, networking functions, and community outreach activities.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Experience in event planning, fundraising, or community engagement (nonprofit experience a plus!)
✔ Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
✔ Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
✔ Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
✔ Willingness to travel across the five-state area as needed
✔ Passion for making a difference in the lives of children and families

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Experience:
