Job Responsibilities
- Ability to understand and support the education program using “learning through play” philosophy
- Ability to keep children within sight and sound supervision at all time
- Ability to change children’s diapers and/or assist with toileting (where necessary)
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with school personnel, children, and parents
- Ability to multitask in a lively environment and work well within a team
- Ability to handle crisis situations, including assisting in evacuating the building during emergencies
- Associate or Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification preferred or a desire to obtain CDA with financial assistance offered through the Keystone STARS benefits
- Experience working with children
- Meet background check eligibility
