What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Technician position at The H&K Group?
Rahns Concrete, a partner of H&K Group, Inc., is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic. This self-motivated individual will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of electric, diesel, and gasoline industrial trucks.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform all work adhering to OSHA and H&K Safety policies
- Reads job order and observes and listens to truck or equipment in operation to determine malfunction and to plan work procedures
- Installs new ignition systems, aligns front wheels, changes, or recharges batteries, and replaces transmissions, engines, and other parts
Required Qualifications:
- One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school in diesel mechanics or a related field OR 2 years of related experience and/or training
- Class A or B CDL or ability to obtain within one year
- Clean driving record
