Marketing Manager

The Help Group is the largest, most innovative, and comprehensive nonprofit of its kind in the United States serving children, adolescents, and young adults with special needs related to autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, ADHD, developmental delays, abuse, and emotional challenges. We are currently adding a Marketing Manager to our team who will be responsible for the setup of marketing campaign for the agency. 

The primary goal of this position is to successfully implement and execute strategic marketing plans for increasing enrollment across The Help Group’s schools and programs, brand awareness through event marketing initiatives, support our annual giving campaigns, and promote our leadership/expertise throughout the SoCal community. The goals are centered on increasing prospects and conversion through marketing activities. Requires strong communication skills, exceptional organizational and project management skills, and a high degree of creative thinking and understanding of traditional and digital marketing. This role supports the entire agency and includes working with colleagues across departments.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Campaign development, including events, digital and traditional advertising, social media, email, content, paid media and more
• Assist in generating interest and energy around campaigns by creating and implementing a project plan including marketing, logistics, budgets, and follow-up to ensure success 
• Collaborate with the marketing team and other departmental staff to ensure marketing efforts support organization goals
• Coordinate and track media buys and manage relationships and deadlines
• Manage platforms such as Mailchimp, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Canva, Eventbrite, etc. 
• On-going execution and reporting – manage metrics for social and digital advertising; ensure that campaigns are progressing and meeting goals and able to generate weekly reports 
• Work with department heads and content manager to create and execute monthly newsletters for various programs
• Project manage the development of new websites alongside the web developer and help to optimize the content and pages
• Mentor and motivate team members and interns to ensure exemplary planning, execution and experiences

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of marketing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of marketing (traditional and digital), sales/philanthropy, project management, and communications. 
• Knowledge of sponsored social media, SEO, SEM and other digital advertising channels.
• Experience in email distribution and marketing automation. Web and advertising copy writing experience a big plus. 
• Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications.
• Experience in the non-profit sector helpful, not required.
• Regular access to a reliable car, valid driver's license, and insurance
• Proven project planning and management skills; able to manage multiple key projects simultaneously

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Salary Range - $65,000-$70,000
