Job Summary
Primarily responsible for ensuring that assigned section has the material and equipment necessary for them to perform their tasks in a manufacturing environment.
Essential Job Functions*
Prepares Items for Processing by reviewing and verifying invoices / paperwork to validate what material and equipment is needed; preparing labels as necessary; and ensuring assigned equipment is in good working condition.
Material Handling by operating assigned equipment in accordance with established procedures; moving items to/from storage to/from areas where it will be processed; using knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems and reports other problems to supervisor; conserving resources by using equipment and supplies to complete tasks without waste; and cleaning area after operations and places discarded material designated areas.
Ensures Quality by conducting multiple spot checks during the workday to ensure products meet established standards; and maintaining a log of items identified as out of tolerance with established standards.
Ensures Safety by maintaining a clean and organized work environment, follows safety policies and procedures, and reports unsafe conditions to Supervisor.

Education & Experience
High School Diploma.
Ability to read and follow documented instructions in English or Spanish.

Related experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
Operational Equipment
Forklift or other Powered Industrial Equipment.
Will receive training on specific machine to be operated.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Work Environment
Material Handler: Must be forklift operation certified. Standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required.
Physical Demands
Material Handler: Medium - Heavy, lifting up to 70 lbs.
