Location: The Home Ranch, Clark, Colorado (15 miles North of Steamboat Springs)

The Home Ranch, a distinguished hospitality ranch nestled in the serene landscapes of Clark, Colorado, is currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our grounds keeping team. Steamboat Springs and Clark Colorado are home to an abundance of recreation and beauty. There really isn't a better place. 300 days of sunshine a year. Prefect summer temperatures. Very low humidity.

We are currently renovating the property. We are on year 3 of landscape renovations. The job will be part time maintenance of grass and garden beds, and part time installs. Building beautiful landscape architecture and installing irrigation.

The Grounds Crew Member is a hands-on position entailing all aspects of grounds maintenance including turf, fertilization, pruning, plant installation, irrigation, etc. This is a seasonal, in field position working with other team mates to ensure the grounds are always looking their finest. The property is under development, so the daily tasks will vary greatly providing a dynamic work environment.

Position: Grounds keepers and Landscape Installers

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

 Operating commercial maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, skid steers, and

other landscape equipment.

 Mulching, composting, fertilization, and weed control through mechanical means or organic chemicals

 Pruning of trees, shrubs, perennials, etc.

 Installation of plants with machinery or by hand

 Communication with your supervisor and teammates to ensure tasks are completed efficiently through teamwork

Skills required for this position:

 Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly

 Extensive walking is inherent in this position

 Basic working knowledge of small engines/ equipment

 Good communication skills both verbal and written

 Landscape industry experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right people

• Competitive Pay: $20-22/hour DOE to start.

• This position will start about the end of May and has potential for year round long term work. We will be hiring a head groundskeeper, management position, so there is potential for promotion within the company. Year round positions receive health, vision,401k, PTO benefits.
