Job summary
The Hose Monster Company, located in Mundelein IL. is seeking an electronics technician to join our growing team! We’re looking for a dedicated individual who is punctual, hardworking, and who will thrive in a team-oriented environment. Successful candidates will have prior experience in electronic assembly, repair, hand soldering, conformal coating, calibration, and be capable of following directions accurately. This role requires hands-on experience using various hand and power tools to assemble, repair, and calibrate system components and circuitry. To succeed in this position, you should also be able to comprehend and follow complex technical manuals/blueprints.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble products according to production needs.
- Read and comprehend complex manuals and diagrams
- Assemble components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications.
- Interpreting drawings, training manuals, and instructions in order to perform duties.
- Following written, verbal, and telephonic instructions.
- Ensure that all safety procedures are followed
- Ensure that all production goals are met
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Read directions and verify parts required prior to assembly of products.
- Quality check work to ensure builds are made correctly and consistently.
- Inform supervisors/managers of any part or equipment defects/software issues.
- Repair, diagnose, and calibrate customer equipment.
- Familiarize yourself with the tools, instrumentation and calibration equipment.
- Communicate with others to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain and service equipment/tools when necessary.
Skills:
- High school diploma/GED required
- 2 years’ experience in electronic repair/assembly work or specialized training is a plus
- Ability to commute to shift on-time.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to work/communicate with team members in a professional manner.
- Reliable.
- Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Able to use hand and power tools safely and accurately
- Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic math and communication skills required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
