Job Summary
Responsible for the quality production of cakes, tarts, cookies, creams, custards, sauces, and plated desserts. Work should be consistent and produced in a timely manner.
Qualification Requirements
Must have a minimum of 2-years experience working in pastry.
Essential Functions
- Prepares all pastries according to recipe standards.
- Maintain highest quality and appearance of all items sent from pastry shop.
- Responsible for plating and garnishing all banquet desserts.
- Keep all food rotated, dated, and labeled.
- Maintain a safe, organized and sanitary work area.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- The ability to read, write, and understands the English language.
- Good judgment and decision making.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safe use of commercial equipment.
Personal and Inter-Relationships
- Must have the ability to be a good team player.
- Maintain good working relationships with other staff members.
- Be respectful towards establishment.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand and bend for long periods of time, the hours of work varies upon business, must be able to push, pull and lift 30 lbs. on a regular basis.

To perform the duties of this position successfully, an employee is required to execute the essential functions of the job.
