What You Need to Know
The Senior Coordinator, Financial Operations is responsible for efficiently managing various financial and operational aspects of program closeout and reporting across HWP Speaker Bureau and Medical Marketing clients. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and compliance of program financials, review and processing of program expenses, and facilitating financial closeout and reporting. In addition, this role includes coaching and mentoring junior staff, day-to-day management of various financial processes, transparency reporting, regular and one-off client reporting, and ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
What You’ll Do
The Senior Coordinator, Financial Operations is accountable to the Director Financial Operations, the AVP Business Compliance, speakers and clients and responsible for supporting the overall financial operations of the HWP Speaker Bureau and its clients. Additionally, this role will:
- Maintain professional and dignified communication with colleagues, speakers and clients addressing inquiries and concerns promptly
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports as requested
- Oversee day-to-day management of various financial processes, such as, but not limited to, speaker expense reimbursement management, payment processing, etc.
- Work collaboratively in the review of transparency reports across clients
- Act as backup for department supervisor as required

What You’ll Have
- 3-5 years similar work experience
- College degree with a focus on accounting, finance or business administration is a plus
- Agency experience, particularly in Speaker Bureau is preferred
- Basic accounting knowledge or demonstrated competency in working with numbers needed
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software such as NetSuite
- Proficiency in navigating databases
- Highly organized and ability to delegate when required
- Demonstrates initiative and can work independently, with minimal supervision
- Exceptional customer service focus

- Salary range: $55,000 – $65,000 annually. Note: Actual salary will depend on background and experience.
