Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Center Front Counter Representative to join our team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations at our service center by managing customer interactions, coordinating appointments, and handling communication between customers, wholesalers, and the service team. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet customers at the front counter, answer inquiries, and provide excellent customer service.
- Phone Management: Answer incoming calls, respond to customer questions, and direct calls to the appropriate department as needed.
- Appointment Coordination:
- Schedule and manage service appointments for customers.
- Coordinate with the service team to provide updates on repairs and timelines to customers.
- Communication:
- Serve as a liaison between customers, the service team, and wholesalers.
- Notify customers and wholesalers of updates regarding repair status, costs, or additional needs.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records of service appointments and customer interactions.
- Assist with invoicing, collecting payments, and maintaining customer accounts.
- Wholesaler Coordination:
- Communicate with wholesalers about vehicle repairs and the wholesale process.
- Ensure efficient scheduling and timely updates regarding vehicle readiness.
- Miscellaneous Tasks: Support the service center team with additional duties as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in customer service, scheduling, or a front counter position preferred. Automotive knowledge is required. Automotive service experience is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using computer systems for scheduling and record-keeping.
- Personality:
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations calmly.
- Availability: Full-time availability, including flexibility to work during peak business hours.
