Job Description for the Senior Cash Applications Specialist:
- Process and post incoming payments from various sources into ERP systems.
- Reconcile cash applications, identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.
- Assist with unapplied cash clean-up, working to resolve outstanding cash items and improve financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to ensure smooth month-end closing and accurate cash application processes.
- Utilize Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) to analyze payment data, track trends, and support reporting requirements.
Job Requirements for the Senior Cash Applications Specialist:
- 5 years of experience in Cash Applications or Accounts Receivable.
- Proficiency with large ERP systems and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's).
- Experience with multiple forms of payment, including ACH, Lockbox, and Credit Cards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to research and resolve payment discrepancies.
