Job Title: Information Technology (IT) Specialist

Location: Grand Forks, ND

Reports to: Director of Finance, HR & IT

Hourly Rate: $23 per hour

Employment Type: Full-time, Benefit Eligible, On-site only (Not eligible for remote work employment)

Schedule: 40 hours per week (Day Schedule)

Job Purpose

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local Grand Forks company with seeking a dedicated and passionate Information Technology (IT) Specialist to join their team. Duties And Responsibilities

• Train end-users on hardware functionality and software programs.
• Provide technical support to staff and customers in person, via phone, or remotely.
• Maintain databases and ensure the security and integrity of systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues promptly.
• Collaborate with IT managers and other departments to address system needs.
• Recommend IT equipment upgrades and assist with implementation.
• Ensure system security, including updates and patches.
• Other duties as assigned to support IT operations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• Certification in Microsoft, Google, or similar IT platforms is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues.
• In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
• Experience in database maintenance and system security.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
