ABR is recruiting for a 1st shift Maintenance Technician for a client in the Wausau area. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and preventive maintenance of equipment. Perform a wide variety of industrial maintenance duties and repair functions related to the care and maintenance of the facility and production equipment.
Starting wage is based on experience.Maintenance Technician Skills/Qualifications/Requirements:High School Diploma and basic computer skill proficiencyStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skillsExperience with fabrication, industrial equipment repairs, pump alignment, material handling systems, predictive and preventive maintenance, instrumentation/electrical and general industrial maintenance, etc.Electrical experience/knowledge is strongly preferredWilling to learn new technologies and techniques for continuous improvementMust be able to manage confined space entry, climb ladders and stairs, lift up to 75 poundsMust be able to operate wheeled equipment, loaders, Bobcat loader, forklift, boom lift, platform lift, and personal carrier, in a safe and effective mannerCommitment to safety and proceduresABR Employment Services is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
