Overview
The Sales Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the international sales team by analyzing sales data, optimizing processes, and providing actionable insights. Works closely with sales leadership to support strategic planning and goal setting, assist with sales forecasting, and contribute to the development of sales strategies through data-driven insights.
Collaborates with internal stakeholders at all levels to identify, analyze, and accelerate strategies for revenue growth and commercial success. Major areas of focus include automating reporting processes, building and enhancing dashboards, as well as presenting findings and trends sales leaders.
Responsibilities
- Provide data-driven insights to support sales planning and performance tracking. Pull data from multiple data sources, including Salesforce.com, our data warehouse, and Excel spreadsheets to aggregate into reports and business insights.
- Train commercial teams on system and processes and ensure compliance
- Develop and maintain sales analytics reports and dashboards of sales KPI performance, productivity, pipeline, and forecasting.
- Design and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality. Improve reporting efficiency and accuracy through automation and optimization of reporting processes and data sources.
- Provide operational and analytical support to the international sales teams.
- Partner with sales, marketing, finance, product, and enablement teams to identify, analyze, and accelerate strategies for growth and commercial success.
- Create presentations and communications for sales leadership.
- Collaborate with peers in finance, operations, and other parts of the business to streamline analytical functions and outputs.
- Provide analytical support for sales leaders on an ad hoc basis. Manage special projects, as needed, by the business to help drive sales performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years’ experience in sales operations or data analysis, using BI tools and excel.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and business intelligence tools with a solid understanding of sales processes, forecasting, and pipeline management. Experience with Workday reporting is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present data insights to sales executives and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to think conceptually and understand & solve complex business processes.
- Strong project management skills. Demonstrates success in meeting deadlines and assigned accountabilities for complex projects.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and internationally.
