Part-Time Administrative Assistant
Location: Arlington, VA (1560 Wilson Blvd)

Position Type: Part-time, In-office
Start Date: October 1, 2024
Pay Rate: $25/hr
Work Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (24 hours per week)
Hours: 8-hour shifts starting at 8 AM or 9 AM
Duration: 4 months, with the possibility of extension into 2025. If extended, there may be an opportunity for a full-time role.
Holidays/PTO:
- 8 PTO days, including the week of Thanksgiving and the week of Christmas
Job Description:
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for various office and administrative support tasks, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations at The JPI Group’s Arlington office. This role requires someone highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inquiries from visitors, employees, and hotel representatives
- Manage scheduling for meeting rooms
- Plan and organize office events (catering, holiday parties, Lunch & Learns)
- Handle visitor emails and provide guidance
- Order and manage office supplies and subscriptions
- Ensure coffee and other office supplies are well-stocked
- Organize and manage weekly office breakfasts and catering needs
- Oversee furniture, FedEx, and postage requests
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite tools
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- A proactive attitude with attention to detail
Training:
- 2-3 weeks of on-the-job training will be provided to ensure familiarity with The JPI Group's processes and systems.
