Description: Our client is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Manager, SQF Practitioner in Arkansas.

Our client is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor for their food manufacturing facility near Little Rock, AR. This is a 1st shift opportunity (Monday-Friday)

Responsibilities

• Direct all QA hourly personnel on 1st shift
• Develop and deliver quality and technical training
• Assist and develop sanitation and quality programs and procedures
• Participate in corporate projects to support innovation and cost control
• Analyze and solve quality related issues
• Participate in all internal and external audits relative to QA
• Ensure all operations are in accordance with OSHA regulations
• Equip and supply quality assurance laboratory
• Provide technical expertise
• Maintain master control documents
• Maintain system for checking and verifying process compliance
  
  

Requirements

• BS degree preferred, but not required.
• 2 years of QA supervisory experience required.
• SQF & HACCP certified.
• Experience with FDA, USDA regulations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work in a matrix organization
• Creative/analytical problem solving skills and innovative approaches to resolve complex problems
• Team building skills and experience
• Microsoft office skills such as PowerPoint, Project Manager, Excel and Word
• Demonstrated experience in managing plant sanitation programs
