Description
Must be within a commutable distance to the Jasper/Dubois IN area.
Main Responsibilities
- Monday – Friday (6am-4pm) Rotational weekend hours
- Perform monitoring procedures according to HACCP plan
- Ability to perform laboratory analysis on a daily basis
- Interaction with operators, production, warehouse and maintenance
- Provide Training / Instruction to Associates
- Participate in Audits Within Program / Facility on an as needed basis
- Understand Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) & Good Laboratory Practices (GLP’s)
- Interact with USDA/FDA on an as needed basis
- Serve as back-up to Quality Lab Technician
- Work Experience in Food Industry (preferably with egg/dairy)
- Preferred Experience in monitoring and collection of micro samples
- HACCP / PCQI / GFSI setting experience or certification
- Critical Thinker / Good Communicator
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
