The Construction Project Engineer plays a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and on-site management of construction engineering activities. This position involves scheduling and coordinating with subcontractors, preparing monthly pay estimates, updating the Project CPM schedule, and maintaining project budgets, change orders, and cost reports for review by the Project Manager. Additionally, the role includes managing project document control procedures, organizing and leading regular review meetings, and performing various other assigned duties to ensure project success.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in heavy civil construction engineering.
Physical Requirements: This field position requires regular sitting, handling objects, listening, and frequent reaching and grasping movements. Occasional standing, walking, stooping, and crouching are required, as well as the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. The role requires good vision, clear speech, and the ability to navigate active construction sites safely. The work environment includes exposure to moderate to high noise levels typical of both office settings and active construction sites, and the ability to sit for prolonged periods at a computer terminal.
