Infection Prevention and Staff Development Coordinator RN
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Infection Prevention and Staff Development Coordinator. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing infection prevention strategies and educational programs to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops, implements, and evaluates educational programs for nursing staff.
- Participates in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to infection prevention.
- Monitors and reports on infection rates and develops strategies to reduce them.
- Collaborates with department heads and physicians to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Acts as a liaison between departments to facilitate communication and coordination of care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
- Current RN licensure in the state.
- Experience in long-term care setting preferred.
